Yesterday I had the pleasure of helping with a Table Talk for a group of Foundations graduates. As we left I commented about how wonderful everyone looks. All ages, shapes and sizes… ALL HEALTHY!

What stood out the most to me was everyone’s skin. There are so many benefits to plant-based eating and staying hydrated, but how great is the side-effect it has on our skin?! There is nothing quite like that healthy glow.

By simply adding in more fruits and veggies we are offering our bodies vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, minerals, antioxidants, and even more water just to name a few. These fiber filled items also move “stuff” through our system quickly. They help detoxify our bodies, magically leading to… CLEAR SKIN!

Have you also succeeded in cutting out dairy? If so, you might notice more than less bloating and less IBS symptoms. You might also be seeing less puffiness in your face and maybe even saying goodbye to those dark circles!

So, keep enjoying those nuts and seeds! Eat a plethora of apples, berries and oranges! Remember your GREENSGREENSGREENS!! Chop up some broccoli, carrots and sweet potatoes. Drink your lemon water! Need something different? Grab spaghetti squash or beets. Eat the rainbow and enjoy the lovely skin you are in!
