As we prepare to start the next round of our 8-week Foundations course, I am reminded of one of the first principles we teach.

WATER!!

How many of you actually drink enough water each day? No, I don’t mean coffee and tea. I know they seem like they are mostly water, but trust me, it is NOT the same. I mean actual water.

64 fluid ounces of water!!

Drink those ounces and you could save yourselves a LOT of discomfort. Most of us connect water with dehydration, but do you realize how many little warnings come with that one word? The list is astounding! Many people ignore the warning signs until it is too late. You can avoid them though by simply picking up your glass!

Drinking enough water could result in:

  • Less/no constipation
  • Better digestion
  • Less/no swelling from sodium
  • Less/no headaches
  • Less stomach pain/ulcers
  • Cholesterol imbalance
  • Better skin
  • Slowing the aging process

Enough with the excuses. The benefits of water far outweigh its common complaint… “lack of taste”!

Fill up those bottles and get drinking!!
